Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Pulse (“Pulse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with our website at pulsetracker.app and our conversion-tracking and attribution services (collectively, the “Service”). Pulse is operated by Sarim Tahir, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Pulse provides conversion tracking for organic content. Because of how the Service works, we handle two distinct kinds of data:

  • Account data — information about you, our customer, as the account holder.
  • End-user data — information collected through your connected channels and tools (e.g., your YouTube content, your website visitors, your CRM contacts) about your audience. For this data we act as a processor on your behalf; you are the controller. Your handling of that data is governed by our Terms of Service and any applicable Data Processing Addendum.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. When you subscribe, our payment provider (Paddle) collects billing details (name, billing address, and card information) to process your payment. We do not store full card numbers ourselves. If you contact support or give feedback, we keep a record of that correspondence.

Information from connected integrations. When you connect a channel or tool to Pulse, we receive data through that integration’s authorized access:

  • YouTube (via Google OAuth): When you connect your YouTube account, we receive an OAuth access token and the permissions you grant — for example, the ability to read your channel and video list and to update video descriptions with tracking links. We use this access solely to provide the Service: letting you select videos, attach CTAs, and post tracking links. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI/ML models, and we do not sell it.
  • Website tracking script: When you install the Pulse script on your site, it collects analytics about visitor activity — page visits, referral source, clicks on tracked links, and conversion events — to attribute conversions back to your content. This data is collected on your behalf.
  • CRM and conversion tools (Calendly, Fillout, HubSpot, and similar): We receive event and contact data (such as a booked call, a completed form, or a closed deal) to attribute conversions within your funnel. This data is processed on your behalf, solely to provide the Service.
  • Payment and checkout platforms (Stripe, Whop, and similar): When you connect a payment or checkout account, we receive purchase, payment, and membership event data (such as a completed purchase or a new membership) to attribute revenue and conversions within your funnel. This data is processed on your behalf, solely to provide the Service.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and to operate the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function without them.

How We Use Information

We use information to: create and secure your account; provide and operate the Service, including tracking and attributing conversions across your connected channels; process payments and manage subscriptions; send administrative and security messages; respond to support requests; monitor, maintain, and improve the Service; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations. With your consent where required, we may send you product and marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, payment processing via Paddle, analytics, email delivery) under contractual confidentiality obligations, limited to what they need to perform their function.
  • Legal and safety reasons — when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pulse, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

End-user data that we process on your behalf is handled according to your instructions and our Terms. We do not use identifiable end-user data for our own purposes except to provide and maintain the Service. We may use de-identified, aggregated data derived from the Service to operate, analyze, and improve Pulse.

Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we may retain certain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. End-user data we process on your behalf is retained according to your settings and instructions, and deleted within a reasonable period after it is no longer needed or upon your request, subject to legal requirements.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can access and update much of your account information directly in your settings, or contact us at sarim@trypulsetracker.com to exercise these rights. If your request concerns end-user data for which one of our customers is the controller, we will refer the request to that customer.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with data protection laws, our legal bases for processing include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and restricting access to personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Storage and International Transfers

Pulse stores and processes data on cloud infrastructure that may be located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside that region, your information may be transferred and processed there, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.

Children

The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, at our discretion. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify you through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
