Privacy Policy for Pulse

Pulse (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the application available at pulsetracker.app (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that you choose to provide through account creation or by connecting third-party services. This includes:

  • Account Information: When you sign up with Google via Clerk, we collect your name, email address, and profile information to create and manage your account.
  • Third-Party Integrations: When you connect third-party apps (such as Google, YouTube, Calendly, and others), we access the data you explicitly authorize through OAuth 2.0. For example:
    • Google / YouTube: We may access your YouTube channel and video information. You select which videos to track, and we store metadata (such as video IDs and titles) to power dashboards and allow description updates.
    • Calendly and Other Apps: We may access scheduling or event information you authorize in order to include it in your funnels and dashboards.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Pulse funnel builder and analytics dashboards.
  • Track and update funnel performance across integrated apps.
  • Show you which videos, events, or data sources are connected to your account.
  • Improve our Service and develop new features.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Storage

  • All data is stored securely in PostgreSQL databases.
  • We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service.
  • Users may request deletion of their data at any time (see Section 6).

4. Data Sharing

  • We do not share your data with third parties except:
  • When necessary to provide the Service (e.g., securely accessing APIs you authorize).
  • When required by law or to protect our legal rights.
  • We do not sell user data.

5. Security

  • We protect your information using industry-standard practices, including:
  • Encrypted transmission via HTTPS.
  • Secure storage of OAuth tokens and credentials.
  • Access controls to limit who can access data.

6. Your Rights

  • Access & Export: You may request a copy of your data.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your data by contacting us at pulsetracker.app@gmail.com
